I was reading this at work, and a co-worker come over and asked what I was looking at. I had him do the dark/light litmus test and he picked the exact same characters as me. I think the test is flawed by juxtaposing cool characters with 'meh' characters for each question.
Red always seemed like an evil color to me. White and black feel more neutral than evil since they they take equally from the color spectrum.
Dude you totally copied someone's blogname.. i cliked on Crystal's... IDENTICAL to yours... almost freaked out thinking i left comments at the wrong one last time...
But my point is: thanks for explaining my online faux pas to "tyop" who i think made that blog for the soul purpose of telling me that...and i would never pay for those ugly stars.
Red is kinda like..a seductress color or like a blood color.. always my least favorite color as a child... next to poo-brown and booger-green.
In my defense, it's hard to match up light/dark side characters in Star Wars. If you get technical in A New Hope, it was Moff Tarkin/Vader vs Luke, Han, Leia Chewie, Obi, C3PO, and R2D2. Do you remember what our star wars card games looked like? You had a billion awesome heroes and I had Vader + imperial stooges like Admiral "Chubby" Motti and General "Receding Hairline" Tagge. Oh, and Piett who Vader couldn't risk choking. And man, Episode 1 was worse. Maul/Sidius/Nute Gunray vs THE WHOLE JEDI COUNCIL???
On a separate but related note, the difficulty in matching characters is a problem when I'm trying to design another Star Wars 3D brawler.
Where did the whole red mage = 3rd faction come from? Doesn't Final Fantasy also have Red Mages being the 3rd? But they also have Blue mages too. Red is likeable only because it complements green so well.

In an effort to alleviate confusion, I've changed the name. Something less inspiring, but certainly a motto to live by.
